Entrepreneurship plays a crucial role in economic development by fostering innovation, job creation, and self-sufficiency. This study examined the relationship between entrepreneurial competencies and entrepreneurial intentions among BS Entrepreneurship students at Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST), Sumacab Campus. The study used descriptive-correlational research design and explored the students’ entrepreneurial competencies—such as systematic planning, persuasion and networking, and self-confidence—and their impact on entrepreneurial intentions. A total of 120 respondents were selected using stratified sampling, and data were collected through a structured questionnaire distributed via Google Forms. Findings indicate that students exhibit a high level of competence in systematic planning and monitoring but show moderate competence in persuasion, networking, and self-confidence. The study highlights that while students recognize the significance of entrepreneurial competencies, further development—particularly in adaptability, communication, and risk management—is necessary to strengthen their entrepreneurial intentions. The correlation results indicate a strong and positive relationship between entrepreneurial competencies and entrepreneurial intentions, with personal attitudes, self-efficacy, and goal-setting emerging as the most influential factors in shaping students' entrepreneurial mindset. These findings emphasize the need for enhanced entrepreneurship education, experiential learning, and institutional support to nurture students' entrepreneurial potential.
