This paper presents ArtistLive, an interactive e-commerce platform designed to bridge the gap between independent artists and art enthusiasts through real-time engagement and personalized commerce. The system enables artists to establish personalized digital storefronts where they can manage artworks, pricing, and order fulfillment efficiently. A distinctive feature of the platform is its live painting session capability, which allows customers to observe the creative process in real time and provide instant feedback, fostering a deeply collaborative relationship between creator and buyer. The platform integrates real-time chat and virtual meeting functionalities to enhance communication transparency, thereby significantly reducing misunderstandings during the commission and fulfillment process. Additional features include secure payment processing via the Stripe API, comprehensive milestone-based order tracking, and flexible delivery options supporting both digital and physical artworks. ArtistLive addresses critical challenges faced by independent artists in the digital marketplace, including lack of visibility, communication gaps, and limited monetization avenues. Experimental evaluation through usability studies (SUS score: 82.4), performance benchmarking (session latency: 180ms), and transaction testing (99.3% success rate) demonstrate the platform’s effectiveness in improving artist-customer interaction and transaction reliability.
