Entrepreneurial skills play a crucial role in shaping effective quantitative decision-making, particularly in emerging enterprises operating within Assam. In a rapidly evolving business environment, the ability to combine managerial competencies with analytical and numerical reasoning has become essential for achieving sustainable growth and competitiveness. Skills such as innovation, risk-taking, problem-solving, and strategic thinking enable entrepreneurs to identify opportunities and respond to market challenges. However, the application of business mathematics strengthens these competencies by facilitating accurate financial planning, cost analysis, and resource allocation. The study is based on primary data collected from 150 entrepreneurs across manufacturing, trade, and service sectors; the analysis highlights a strong positive relationship between entrepreneurial skills and quantitative decision-making. Entrepreneurs with higher levels of mathematical understanding demonstrate greater efficiency in evaluating alternatives, forecasting outcomes, and minimizing financial risks. The integration of business mathematics into entrepreneurial practices enhances the precision and reliability of decisions, thereby improving overall business performance. The findings of the study underline the importance of developing quantitative competence alongside traditional entrepreneurial skills. In the context of Assam, where many enterprises are still in the growth phase, limited exposure to mathematical tools often restricts effective decision-making. Strengthening mathematical literacy and promoting analytical thinking can significantly contribute to enterprise sustainability and regional economic development. The paper emphasizes the need for incorporating business mathematics into entrepreneurship education and training programs, thereby enabling entrepreneurs to make informed, data-driven decisions and adapt to an increasingly competitive economic landscape.
